Setting goals for this experience
Skills attained through 2.0 and actual use contribute to my #1 current professional goal: increasing tools of engagement. The tools I am practicing with a LOT are music and technology. For the purposes of 2.0 I am specifically learning how to enhance curriculum/student learning through technology.
Wikis and flckr are 2 programs i know nothing about except for the following. Wikis do something with info and flckr does something with pictures. Both seem as though they would have classroom application.
I know and love podcasts; I would like to know how to create podcasts. I have envisioned student-made podcasts for our ancient art 'show' at the end of the year. I have wanted to create podcasts for field trips.
Finally, I have been curious about social networking sites. I am glad I will learn a bit about them, too.
